How we score cars

Every car is scored on the same rows: body style, base powertrain, horsepower, 0-60 mph, combined economy, range per tank/charge, seats, cargo volume, warranty, base MSRP (USD, 2025). Measurable rows are normalised across the category and weighted (Performance 20%, Economy 15%, Practicality 15%, Safety 15%, Technology 10%, Comfort 10%, Value 15%); rows without a sensible direction are explained, not scored.
